In the evening, nothing is prepared.
The world dreams of escape,
moment's Pass like figurines
tiny yet immeasurable.
Coming down into our lives like soap, water. Faith, and nothing is settled
In this house,
Everything is as it seems
there is no subtext. No plot.
dishes are the dishes.
The shelves are the shelves,
and we are useless, Come morning,
as some of us come to find that it is never easy.
