Juan Romo joined the South LA studio in 2022 but has been creating renditions of pop culture figures since childhood. Romo is a huge fan of wrestling and rap music and enjoys creating tribute compositions of these icons beginning in ink illustrations and later transitioning into watercolors. Romo is very dedicated to his artistic practice and pays close attention to capturing detail in his artwork, while continually developing his skill in flowing contour line. Romo is also exploring printmaking and is eager to see his work make it into the public eye.
