Poetry has been an outlet of expression for Megan since childhood. Inspired by many songwriters and other poets, she writes her poems as a way to express her perspective and inspire others.
She survived a near-fatal car accident her junior year in high school. As a passenger, she sustained multiple injuries, including a devastating Traumatic Brain Injury. Due to the way her brain was injured, doctors said that Megan would no longer be an artist. Instead, her painting and poetry continue to grow and evolve, and are integral to her living her best life.
Meghan is from California.
