ArtLabbé Foundation at Saint Paul Montessori School

With the participation of students from pre-kindergarten through high school, teachers, parents, and their director, Mrs. Carmen Miranda Luco, we highlight the completion of the “Educational Murals” project by Fundación ArtLabbé at the inclusive Saint Paul School in the Las Condes district.

The artist Soledad Bravo was responsible for inspiring us by preparing the wall for its later transformation, depicting the flora and fauna of the pre-Andean landscape of the Metropolitan Region of Santiago. The chilla fox, the pitio bird, beautiful ferns, and a large chagual plant were some of the main features of this colorful mural.

The school’s entrance hallway took on a new personality, offering every passerby the chance to admire the vibrant and creative artwork.

We give special thanks to the person who had the greatest intention to make this project a reality: our dear collaborator and foundation ambassador, Pablo Vásquez Miranda, son of the school’s director and staff member at Colegio Saint Paul. Pablo has Down syndrome and is a wonderful example of hard work, perseverance, dedication, and overcoming challenges.
